Halloween Candy 

Every Halloween many children have the opportunity to dress up and trick-or-treat. However, children who are homeless don't have the opportunity to enjoy this holiday. This gave me the idea to collect candy in school and donate it to my local soup kitchen. So in 4th and 5th grade, I collected candy and donated it to the Trenton Soup Kitchen.  They gave every child or family at the soup kitchen a small bag of candy for Thanksgiving. Just a small bag of candy brought so much joy to the children and their families.
